Our team organizes annual fundraisers and initiatives that focus on empowering kind behaviour towards nature, community, self, and towards others.
Our Story
Incorporated in 2020, the Vancouver Kindness Movement (VKM) is a registered non-profit organization, leading a social movement of change through kindness and compassion.
Founded by Juliana Manalo, alongside a core executive team, the Vancouver Kindness Movement started by reaching out to other youth by building awareness around the idea that kindness was a choice for anyone in any situation, both offline and online.
In the following months, the Vancouver Kindness Movement expanded its Kindness Ambassador Program and launched various initiatives in the community such as their annual shoreline clean-ups in the Fall, an outreach program in December, Random Act of Kindness (RAK) in February, and the Love Where You Learn (LWYL) initiative in the Spring.
